About Susan

THE ARTIST

Susan Vydra Brown

I’m Susan Vydra Brown, an artist living in Springfield, Missouri. My landscapes grow from places I’ve visited across the country, while my cat paintings capture personalities closer to home—usually under close feline supervision. I’m a lifelong learner, happiest in a museum standing much too close to someone else’s painting.
